
A gun shot rang through the air, as the starter’s pistol cued the beginning of the Ohio University men’s track 4x100 meter relay. It was one of many lasts for the Bobcat men’s track and field team running in their final home meet at Goldsberry Track. It must have been a bittersweet day for the team, who won the majority of the events at the eight team competition. Following a decision by OU’s athletics department to cut four sports programs, the team is now in the final month of its final season. This blog will offer a forum for Bobcat athletes and fans to share stories, celebrate successes and voice their opinions on the team as it makes its final run.
